Online Demos

You can find links to some examples of my online stories here.

My beat was the funeral industry and I successfully sourced topical stories about industry regulation, after the enquiry into the Morton Hall baby ashes controversy was published; funeral poverty, which highlighted the rising cost of funerals in the UK; as well as investigating why funeral directors are not stocking locally made and sourced coffins on their shop floors.

It wasn't all serious. I interviewed the founders of and DeadSocial to find out how digital legacies will allow us to live on after our deaths and I profiled Dead Meet founder, Carla Valentine, and asked her why she felt there was a need for a dating site for those in the death industry.
